People often think that by planting more plants they will get more income but this is not the case.  They need to understand that high-density plantations can be implemented with some species but not with all. The major tree species need good spacing to develop good diameters. 

Good spacing is required because trees take their much-needed nutrients from the land and if they were planted closely then they have to share the nutrients with other trees as well. It simply means the tree did not receive the required nutrients for better growth.
