When you reach Indraprastha metro station make sure to start walking towards the CNG pump which is approximately 2 km away from the station. If you have your own vehicle then you can easily reach the nursery, otherwise, you have to walk or you can take a rickshaw from the metro station. Nursery will appear on the left side so take the left side road from the Indraprastha metro station.

Process to get free plants in ITO nursery 

It is very easy to get free plants in Delhi ITO nursery. No pre appointment is required, you just need to visit the nursery with your Aadhar card. According to the process you need to fill a small form provided by the nursery authority and show your Delhi aadhar card. Yes it is necessary to have an Aadhar card of Delhi city otherwise they will not entertain you. As per the caretaker one can get 10 free plants in 1 month. Caretaker told me one should reach at time and the timings are 10 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 4 PM. They will not attend any person from 1 PM to 2 PM due to lunch. 

G20 Sammelan occurred this year and all plants are still in pragati maidan, said the caretaker. So they are not providing any free plants for now however they will again start the process in March next year. One can get free plants from January to December for all 12 months except Sundays and government holidays.

After reaching Indraprastha metro station, start walking towards the CNG pump which is approximately 2:05 km away from the station. After crossing the ITO nursery you will reach Delhi Garden nursery within 5 minutes of walking distance. The nursery is located exactly beside the CNG pump. Self-vehicle or rickshaws will make it easier for you to reach there easily in comparison to walking. It will take more than 30 minutes while walking. Erikshaw may charge Rs 10 to 20 accordingly.

The process to get free plants in Delhi Garden Nursery

No pre-appointment is required, you just need to visit the nursery with your Aadhar card. According to the process, a Delhi Adhar card is compulsory and you need to show your Delhi Aadhar card to the authorities. The timings are 10 AM to 1 PM (1 pm – 2 pm lunch) and 2 PM to 4 PM. They do not allow you to enter the gate during lunchtime. 

It is a bigger nursery in comparison to ITO nursery and here you can get 20 free plants per person in a month. 

You get free plants from January to December for all 12 months except government holidays and Sundays.
