Soil requirement

Choose well-drained light soil such as sandy, alluvial or lateritic soil, avoid heavy soils. The ideal soil pH should be 4.5 to 6. 

Irrigation 

Water – Needs regular sufficient water hence grown in heavy rainfall regions. 

Per day – 1.3 to 1.5 mm per day.

Propagation method 

Sucker – 350 gram to 450 gram sucker should be selected for planting. 
Leaf cuttings – Pick the dried leaf from the base of a plant and after a little trimming plant it.
