Similar to IPL, it is a short format of cricket  played for 20-20 overs and developed for farmers in India. In one of my previous posts I have mentioned Farmers Cricket League idea and see someone is creating the same as Kisan Premier League.

One of the finest sports companies in India named Sportsgo took the initiative to start KPL for the sake of farmers. Sportsgo said that they want to execute this idea to help farmers and they are ready to collaborate in the initial phase. STN might join them to help farmers.

As per the sportsgo KPL rule only farmers are eligible to participate in this tournament. This is because the initiative has been taken by a company to help farmers.

Kisan Premier League eligibility criteria

You don’t need a big amount of land, instead only a single piece of land is ok to participate in kpl. Even if you don’t have your own land and work on other people’s land, still you are eligible to participate in KPL.

What you have to do is get a sign of that person on a paper on which it should be written that you are working as a farmer in their land. KPl image is given below.

If you have a small piece of land then submit the photo of the land along with a photocopy of the paper of the land. Don’t worry if the land is in your daddy’s name. You can submit a relationship proof like an adhar card or ration card photocopy proving that the land owner is your dad. You can also submit any school or college certificate in which your and your daddy’s name is written.

Apart from the given details, having an Aadhaar Card and being an Indian citizen is necessary to participate in KPL.

How to participate in kisan Premier league?

To participate in Kisan Premier League first you have to buy a KPL form from sportsgo website. Don’t buy the form from any other website as the concerned company is responsible to organise the tournament.

After filling the form, send the scan copy of it to the email of the company. Along with the form send important documents like an Aadhar card, land paper photocopy or signed paper by the land owner that you work as a farmer on their land.

Once you buy the form they will get your contact number and you will be updated about the KPL trials through that number. It’s a good chance for those who ever dream to play cricket on a big platform but failed due to responsibilities.

It is also a very good initiative to help farmers as India is an agricultural country but farmers are not earning the satisfactory money. It might be a turning point in their life if things go with the company who is taking initiative to start KPL on a big platform all over India.
