Malabar neem farming profit cost report

Malabar neem price depends on its weight. It is a fast growing tree that needs 5 -7 years to mature. Malabar neem farming profit cost report shared.

A comprehensive project report on malabar neem tree farming is shared here containing profit cost analysis. Anyone can start its farming as the tree grows in most places. Malabar Neem plant price in nurseries is Rs 15 to Rs 25 depending on variety and age. The tree is harvested after 5 years and sold according to the weight.

Malabar neem farming profit cost report

As per Mahogany plantation project report its profit is high but the tree needs 10 years to mature. Whereas malabar grows in 5 years. Malabar neem farming profit is higher than poplar and other trees after this report you can check out hybrid poplar tree project report.

One healthy malabar neem tree weight after 5 years would be around 500 kg. Malabar neem wood price in India is Rs 5000 per ton. The below given project report is for 500 trees.

Cost per acre

Due to the low cost it is easy to start malabar neem farming in India and other countries.

Malabar neem plant price = Rs 15 to Rs 25.

Let’s assume the price = Rs 20.

Plants per acre = 500 plants.

Total malabar neem plant costs = Rs 20 x 500 plants = Rs 10,000.

  • 500 Malabar plant cost = Rs 10,000.
  • Cost for preparing field = Rs 10,000
  • Labour charges = Rs 15,000.
  • Fertilizer cost = Rs 10,000.
  • Irrigation cost = Rs 11,000.
  • Tree care charges = Rs 10,000.
  • Plant protection charges India = Rs 6000.
  • Miscellaneous cost = Rs 10,000.
  • Total 1st year cost = Rs 82,000.

The plant grows and is harvested after 5 and 7 years. Here we are calculating the 5 years cost and profit.

To get total farming cost for 5 years do a calculation given below:

  • It is necessary to reduce one time cost from the 1st year cost to get the correct total cost.
  • Sapling cost and farm preparation costs are one time costs as done once in 5 years.
  • Total one time cost = Rs 10,000 (sapling) + Rs 10,000 (farm preparation) = Rs 20,000.
  • So, the total one time cost = Rs 20,000.
  • Now reduce one time cost from first year cost = Rs 82,000 – Rs 20,000 = Rs 62000.

It is necessary to remove the one-time cost because we buy plants only one time and the field is prepared in the beginning so don’t add the cost multiple times.

After removing one time cost multiply Rs 62000 by 4 to get the next 4 year cost and then add 1st year cost with this 4 years cost to get the total 5 years cost.

Next 4 years cost = 4 years x Rs 62,000 = Rs 2,48,000.

Total 5 year cost = Rs 2,48,000 + Rs 62000 = Rs 3,10,000.

Total 5 years cost = Rs 3,10,000.

Profit per acre

  • Malabar neem price per ton = Rs 5,000.
  • Tree weight after 5 years = 500 kg.
  • Trees per acre = 500 trees.
  • To get 500 trees weight multiply 500 kg with 500 trees = 250000 kg.
  • 250000 kg = 250 tonn.
  • Malabar wood price per ton = Rs 5000/ton.
  • Profit after 5 years = Rs 5000 x 250 ton.
  • Profit = Rs 12,50,000.
  • Net Profit = Rs 3,10,000 (total cost) – Rs 12,50,000 (profit).
  • Net Profit = Rs 9,40,000.

Note – This is the assumption of the report and the actual calculation may differ as per the malabar neem wood price, market, variety and demand etc. This report is prepared to give you an idea about cost and profit.

According to farmers Malabar neem farming is a profitable farming, you can check out the you tube video in our channel.

Expensive trees in the world

In one acre field an average 500 plants can be planted with a suitable distance. Farmers who are planting poplar trees should also look at this tree. It is also one of the fast growing trees that is also expensive tree in India. Malabar neem tree price in India is around Rs 5000 per ton.

If you can wait till 8 to 10 years then I would recommend you start mahogany farming. It is one of the most expensive trees in the world that sells around Rs 15000 to Rs 20000 after 10 years

Conclusion – This blog is all about the Malabar neem farming project report. The profit and cost calculation in detail is given in the report.
