Khushi Thakur from Raipur was honoured with the International Environment Warrior award at the International Environment Conference held at Lumbini, Nepal.

Khushi Thakur is a student of BSC first year in Raipur and she is also a national-level cricketer. Lumbini is situated in Nepal and is the birthplace of Gautam Budh. In Lumbini, Nepal Khushi Thakur was honoured with the International Environment Warrior Award during the International Environment Conference Lumbini. Khushi was honoured with the joint effort of Kamala Jalandhar Sanrakshan Abhiyan Janakpur (Nepal), Green Youth of Lumbini, Nepal and the Didiji foundation of Nepal for the people Neem, Tulsi campaign.
Hemant Gadewal is the co-secretary of the Chattisgarh unit of Peepal, Neem, Tulsi Abhiyan and according to Hemant Khushi is much more aware of the environment and due to her awareness, Khushi has brought laurels to the city globally. Apart from this Khushi is a national-level cricket player and she is studying at the science college in Raipur.
Students made waterfall swing from unusable material
60 girls have participated in the best of the best programme which was organized by the Cultural Committee and Eco Club in Gurukul Mahila Mahavidhyalaya Raipur. In this programme, students showed their talent and presented various types of materials made from waste materials at home. They made materials like a live waterfall, wall hanging, mirror periodic table, birds nest, flower pat bouquet, jhoola teddy bear, chandelier etc.
Environmentalist Tulsi Gowda Padmashree Award
In the recent past Environmentalist, Tulsi Gowda received Padmashree Award for her praiseworthy efforts in the field of the environment towards the conservation of trees. She received Padma Shree Award from President Ramnath Kowind in Delhi. Although 73 personalities including boxer Marion, Kangana Ranaut, P.V. Sindhu also received the award Tulsi Gowda captured all the limelight due to her simplicity, she reached Rashtrapati Bhavan barefoot to receive the award and her pics went viral people on social media appreciated her simplicity.
